(Not Just) An Extraordinary Suburbian Idiot (Kerrang Magazine 2014)

Greenday status should (now) be legendary in punkrock scene not just because they're selling million dollars records or for Woodstock appearance only. These trio outfit are one of the most fucking brilliant three-chords bands in the world with BIG balls !
Why big ? Ask Kerrang Mags for a good straight fucking answer, though. Yep, they got balls and thus simplicities songs and punkrock beats crowning them a tribute album - Kerrang's Does Green Day's American Idiot with full lineup of pop punk bands of America. Hailing to cover American Idiot is a newbie 5 Seconds of Summer along with more hard rocking Rise To Remains tackling the epical Jesus of Suburbia. Loud, fast as punkrock rules your hearing domain, taking back the heavy weight title of suburban elite noise for rockers, skaters and even losers united.
Billie Joe and friends would be guaranteed in satisfaction for listening the dominant sound of the taking over of punk goes green day-ist presented by one of the most influental magazine in the dangerous world of rock today even though not all of the tracks here is better than the original ones. A bit crappy The Defiled was flauntingly failed to regain power to the ballad Wake me up when September ends but luckily, Falling in Reverse manage to bursting a mix of part silly part hardcore on She's a rebel.
Fortunately, for some fortunate ones - there's a bonus tracks cover songs off the Dookie album and for these State Champs (Welcome to Paradise) and The Swellers in Basket case championing the legends of Green Day quite handy in great powerpop style of their own (or frankly, Green Day mid tempo).
Just because you're American doesn't mean you're an idiot but you are definitely one if you just doing nothing and being commercially punk rocking numb.
