The second album as trio maybe not too advancing for Jason
Bieler and Saigon Kick but as the show must go on, they’re keep going to push
on their luck and rock fame. Consisting of the multi-instrumentalist Jason
(vocals, guitar, piano, keyboards and programming), Phil Varone (drums,
percussion, piano) and the newcomer – Chris McLernon (bass, backing vocals,
guitar) Saigon Kick trying to keep their spirit flames conquering the air
surrounds with progressive sounds and good music production. Most of distortion
is gone away replaced by the more soft penetrations of sexier approaches of
neo-romantic tunes and some native American’s stomp which spawning new favorite
tracks like I Love You, The Way and When You Were Mine. Nevertheless, Saigon
trio keep going on to exploring their musical journey in remarkable intros and
solos in progress to communicates with their fans whether, on the awkwardness
grungy of Sentimental Girl, a great cover-version of Space Oddity or their best
track so far (both music and lyrics) – Fields of Rape; the saddest
illustrations about the dark side of Balkan’s war which already started
somewhere in June or July.
