Luxurious and glamour; that what should be labeled on
Courtney Love’s album America’s Sweetheart – the first solo project outside her
infamous grunge cohorts Hole but still clinging on her band’s last record which
contains melodious melodramatic, softer tones with more philosophic lyrics as
Ms. Love-Cobain dedicated this one for the talented film director Cameron
Crowe. Lying almost naked on the cover art and screaming aloud (most of her fans would really pleased to hear) and cranking up the pink guitar in over toning; which is all that you can ever wanted from this leading female rockstar of the nineties, right ?!
Courtney was lucky enough for having this album finished in touch by the help from the bunch of true friends – both Patty Schemel and Samantha Maloney (from Hole), Emilie Autumn, Scott McCloud and Jerry Best.
Life Despite God, Hello, Zeplin Song, All The Drugs and Mono are sounded like confessionals of her naked truth from drug addiction to affair to unhealed personal wounds written down on this not so secret pinky rock diary.
