Surviving the breakdown from their first record fame turned
to disaster; Jakob Dylan even had to re-arranged his band (The)Wallflowers with
leaving only him and keyboardist Rami Jaffe as original members this time
having on board Fred Eltringham (drums, percussions, backing vocals) and Greg
Richling (bass) also producer Brendan O’Brien playing guitars and Lenny Castro
on percussions. Rebel Sweetheart is just like a new starting all over again for
this actual veteran alt.rock band with more Country edge sounds and of course,
modern Folk Rock which still strong enough to make one hums and singing in full
spirits. How far you’ve come, From the bottom of my heart, Back to California
or We’re already there are courageously encouraging people for not stop hoping
and keep doing the best of what they’re love the most. The atmosphere of
struggles and the solitude journey all can really be heard here on this album
in a melodious mixes between Jazzy Lounge and relaxing Midwest Chamber Music
along within the blessed cool vocals straight from Bob Dylan. A
Californian-sphere comforts filled with thus sea-side hills images and open
roads. Days of wonder of all things new again.
