Phil Collins would luckily enjoying his finest solo days away, making album after album the way he wanted to and still can producing several hits. His fourth record ... But Seriously is a great piece of work which reflects Phil's awesome sense of putting more power play on this Pop-Rock project in such a tremendous way giving plenty space for live bands than synthesizer. Doing his accurate point of views for portraying some of the national issues around at that time like homeless problems and complexities of relationship but still can sound serious and fun within his favorable combinations of both Lounge rock and Chamber Blues-pop.
