Club Hoppin’(EMI Records 2003). Jamelia Davis or known by
only just simply – Jamelia is a talented British singer whom shining on the
early Millennium – a promising sunshine moment for Rn’B and Hip-Hop music to
rise up. Before there’s this or that truthfully, here’s Thank You – Jamelia’s
commercial album good enough to be produced by combining Pop, Black music,
Reggae and catchy dance beats. But because of the over-confident story written
by British media and the critics already seeing this album half-hearted,
Jamelia only surviving one hit wonder from herself which becoming a pretty
lucky famous jingle song all over the world at that time – the jazzy Superstar.
Other forgotten songs on this album should be Off tha endz, Antidote, Dirty
Dirty or Bounce.
Such a shame waste for UK Pop scene.
