There was a time when Heavy Metal sounded too cool to be hated as they returning back with new formula named Pop-Funk Metal with a little bit glamorous edge and one of that moment surely when Extreme releasing Extreme II: Pornograffitti. Decadence Dance opening this brilliant fresh album with the groovy power of funky beats and the glorious licks of guitarist Nuno Bettencourt which reclaiming himself as one of the best in this world. Clever, unique and rocking hard should be labeled to this Bostonites quartet delivering their best spunds ever by wrote some of their excellent songs and put them in one complete record. Lil' Jack Horny, When I'm a president or Get the funk out sooner became an anthem for young frustrated generations who needing more of freedom of expression over the stupid government's and shallow thoughts society rules as they finding it through Extreme's sounds that (also) didn't like of what they've seen on their country. Not only the heroic rock n' roll tracks but also their smart and romantic ballads like More than words or Song for love ruling the air-play over million radios around the globe in sudden. From just an average band like a little baby sucking his pacifier growing to one of the rockstar giants and kept their success stable a bit longer even the bad news and nonsense gossips cannot take them down easily.
We thank them for this Funked up fairytale awesomeness !
