There Was A Time N' The World (Geffen / Black Frog 2008)

Most of its legendary members already decided to resign due to the long hiatus and internal disintegration which almost depressing William Axl Rose of whether he just calling it quits and done with his famous Guns N' Roses this time for good or ... Another shitty issues about the reunion to the making of a new album - all in waiting as well seems to be the permanent the end for this band that used to be called "The Most Dangerous Band" in the world but the sensational story won't quite ended here for Axl and GN'R as it finally releasing this long-waited album named Chinese Democracy that already making news because the concept of ideas and arts on it got banned by the Chinese government on its first week press-release date. More can be called as a musical group than band with dozens of new musicians recruited by Axl whose only a remaining original member with keyboardist Dizzy Reed from the Illusion era. Listed here are Robin Finck, Ron Bumblefoot Thal, Buckethead, Richard Fortus and Paul Tobias tackling the guitars department while seated for the empty drummer spot are Brian Mantia and Josh Freese as well as The ex-Replacements Tommy Stinson or Chris Pitman completed the "Big Band of Superstars" on bass. The lasted of waiting ends here but for most of the new tracks written by Axl and his new employees, slightly cannot compared to Guns N' Roses previous great works even with the help of Marco Beltrami or Paul Buckmaster and Suzy Katayama (arrangements), Sebastian Bach for backing vocals to their endless listed production team. Only for the die-hard fans as well as the new generation who carelessly unfamiliar with the guns might would try Catcher in the Rye, Better, Madagascar and Prostitute which sounded harmless, complicated but still carrying some of the last breath of Roses music ...
