Jumping Train Catch (American Laundromat Records 2000)

For the discoball and ballons drawings on the front cover would slightly change our own perspective about the goth sore vision of The Cure with this compilation of various on Just Like Heaven - A Tribute to The Cure, this time from the Alt.Rock/Indie generation style scene. Don't force yourself to liking them or perhaps; it'll make you permanently dizzy because some great works from Robert Smith and co. shall be turning upside down to be a little bit brighter or filled in with some joy melodies but in the end - it's only about perspective after all and you'll finding this record to be amusing as well as The Cure themselves again.
Plenty musicians with unknown names like Joy Zipper, Cassette's Won't Listen, Devics, The Poems to Elizabeth Harper and The Matinee are just a few to be mentioned of the lists. The songs of Goth anthems of all time are presented completely a whole here with more positive energy; The Walk, A Strange Day, Picture of You and even Love Song in two different versions could make you and your friends fell in love again with The Cure or easily would simply, kill yourself in regrets.
So, by the end of this record - just let's go to bed.
   Shall we ?
