November Hotel Dead (Columbia 1995)

The other side of Alice in Chain's heroic vocalist personality shown in more nudity towards his awesome collaboration with Mike McCready of Pearl Jam as they're establishing Mad Season as the name of this supergroup project. Calm, low-profiles but relentless must be the character of these talented individuals which also got helped from their friends of "Seattle Citizens" Barrett Martin on drums, double bass, cello, marimba and vibraphone with John Baker Saunders playing bass guitar or Mark Lanegan's backing vocals for them.
More Bluesy on the inside and outside whilst McCready discipline and self-influenced guitar playing sounded better than usual Pearl Jam sessions or the audience focusing central figure - Layne Staley whom sharing us his vibration and variation of low and high tone voices, Eddie Vedder cannot reach and the music of Mad Season as well as the strong idealism will be different from their previous works or bands.
Above is an influental side-project which have been waiting for by hundreds or maybe more fanatic fans of both Pearl Jam, Alice in Chain and even Screaming Trees or just being attracted to the supreme power of Seattle Sound honesty and characterized sounds. Imagine the more Indie Rock and less-distortions from the beginning to the last songs. X-Ray Mind, River of Deceit, Artificial Red and I Don't Know Anything should be your new rock guidance for Mike McCready not trying to replacing Jerry Cantrell place or maybe an accident goodbye from the lead singer himself towards New Rock City Seattle, Alternative Music and the world.
