Here Comes Your Man (4AD / Elektra 1989)

Francis Black the leader of The Pixies decided to writing more darker surrealism based on Biblical principles for Doolittle as these semi-legendary Alternative rock band's second album.
Being really solid by having his trusted bandmates around him, Francis Black successfully written (by some heavenly force) thus wiser but ambiguous lyrics and finishing most of the songs on Doolittle; still completely with the band members - Joey Santiago (bad guitar, backing vocals), David Lovering (drums, bad vocals on La La Love You, bass guitar on Silver), black Francis himself on vocals and rhythm guitar and Kim Deal (bass guitar, vocals, slide guitar on Silver) completed by some brass section additional players.
Fifteen tracks of less Pop influences and more sarcastic rock should be enough to make this album an alternative to anything normal back there as you can catching most of thus unpleasant theme based on the whore of babylon literature on No. 13 Baby, Gouge Away or Debaser.
Big applause goes to The Pixies but the real credits should also goes to producer Gil Norton.
