Snow Poison (Instrument Village / Bad Recording Co. 2013)

May sounded like The Band playing their Folkrock songs in a live band's format but this lot adding more Southern Comfort touches into their melodious sounds as an exclamation of the trademarking music of The Builders and The Butchers.
Not too sounded like a close calling to any musical companion to The Black Crowes or a bit rocky more raw modules off the ripping tones from Southern Rock standards; this Portland band led by Ryan Solle with his companion in arms Willy Kunkle (bass, vocals, percussion), Justin Baier (drums, backup vocals, percussion), Ray Rude (drums, backup vocals, piano, clarinet) Harvey Tumbleson (mandolin, banjo, vocals) really digging their roots loyally smart in this Western Medicine.
The music that they're creating would do good with every groovy melodies and curving licks and harmony vocals to making it solid but still the band could really looks low-profiled as their down to Earth performance birthing these fine songs such as Dirt in The Ground, Pennies In The Well to Hellfire Mountain.
Western Medicine is naturally perfect for building the campfire-side atmosphere into the wild to the forest's edge sites ...
