Caledonia Gold Label (Rise Above Records 2009)

Not a hoax news because when Bill Steer of the mighty legendary Death Metal band Carcass decided to sliding a side for a nick of time doing his own Blues Rock Project under the sacred name Firebird as along his way some friends also joining him on this journey as well and so we got Smok Smoczkiewicz on bass guitar and Ludwig Witt behind the drumkit providing the rhythm sections to several self-written Bluesy tunes by Steer himself and the rest of classic covers keeping this trio really really parted far away from the groundbreaking extreme underground Metal deathly music. Instead, y'all been lucky enough for having these entertaining performance from Firebird's trio cranking up their deliberated music with a heavy roots from American music heritage through this Grand Union album. Kept tight to be sounded fully complete by lead vocalist, lead and rhythm guitarist and harmonica from Bill Steer whose also included a James Taylor and Humble Pie numbers between thus lists as the Blues lovers could be lost under Mr. Steer's great vocals and solo guitars, directly touching the sense of feelings through Blue Flame, Jack The Lad or Lonely Road to Silent Stranger in a perfect successful gifted package like this one.
