Ghost Of Honey Milk (Triple Crown Records 2006)

Looking like either local collage drop-outs or glamorous terrorists breed disguised as musicians actually, As Tall As Lions music sounded a bit little too serious than their appearance as far as people can see. Emotinally couragous and not so simple to be called an easy listening record; their self-titled album As Tall As Lions might sounded like a long waited experimental romance of depressive moods from Muse or Radiohead's roadies but to be honest, you will also giving an attention to these Long Islanders Indie Rock band an applause for being "distorted and gloomy" like an aggressive melodious pacifist invertedly reverse from a fun or hard images to blur in existence or so. Started your meet and greet with them and listen to the tortured painful vocals of guitarist Dan Nigro and his melancholy crew singing Stab City in story, Song for Luna or A Break A Pause which definitely would covering your day with grey cloudy weather or in reverse, giving you a hint of solution for everything which already cannot be fixed around you.
Slow symphonies for the hidden bravery inside our cowardice ...
