Deeds Beyond The Hints (Close Up 2011)
Got their influences from older Psychedelic Rock bands from the 70's and the 80's like Fairport Convention with the heavy atmospheric sound effects of sitar on most of their songs and even the band members confusional aims for not giving out their real names instead - but numbers in form of 83, 84, 85 etc. These French Psychedelic Indie Rock group Sudden Death of Stars hailed from Rennes as five piece band with a sitarist and a tambourine girl included to releasing their debut - Getting Up Going Down formidably would critically reminding us about going back to the Summer of Drugs decade; where everything is legal (mostly) and peace is reluctant but reachable in many searching ways. The album will be awesomely capturing every aspects led and left by the legacy of those hazy decade long time ago to be introduced one more time again to the newer genereations of restless confusing youth. Programmed in an honest and modest lyrical lively and concrete with a bit of compromising drugged trancends related effects to lullabying you and every listeners to temporary sleep along the performing of Free and Easy, Song for Laika, I'm Not Among Believers or Supernovae.
Sniffing in the spiritual inhaler of hallucinogen side-effects of the psychedelic and exhaled.
