Shrieking Elvis Picture (EMI Music Canada 1994)

One of the Alternative band from Canada that successfully grabbing 4 platinums as an achievement made by their used to be underrated turns to fantastic debut album for Moist the five piece and low-profiles Modern Rock group consisting of Jeff Pearce (bass), Kevin Young (keyboards, piano), Paul Wilcox (drums) and guitarist Mark Makoway found their chemistry through the same loving hobby to performing and band jamming as these fine rockers got their influences from the early nineties Indie Rock pioneers to Hard Rock and Goth Pop sensations which can be heard as a groovy combinations on their hands with the self-written tracks of semi-depression but holding small amount of hope to fight for as well the audiences can found it on Moist's radio hit singles and everyone's favorite like the beautiful miserable anthems of Push or Silver and Believe Me to their more darker personal story and dilemma over Into Everything, Kill For You and Break Her Down.
The main attractions from this band supposed to be the spotlighted lead vocalist David Usher but some also appreciated their favorable figure for Mark Makoway whose sometimes playing his guitars like a sickman with the worst hernia attack or possessed by rock demon while doing his solos or performing strange licks to melodies which really cool to watch. Unluckily, this marvellous band didn't lasted for long after several releases but their legacy would be staying here just like a staind that cannot be erased easily by time and trend changes.

The Silver album is rare so better trying to get this one before you found out that this record's nowhere to be found anymore.
