Toy Guns Effect (Mom + Pop / Memphis Industries 2014)

Appearing on Late Show with David Letterman must be the first US soil’s performance made by Tokyo Police Club, the Ontario – Canada Indie Rock band that consisting of Graham Wright (keyboards, vocals), Dave Monks (vocals, bass), Josh Hook (guitar, percussion) and Greg Alsop (drums, percussion) to recording their nicest Pop Indie style of Post-Punk Revival which can be described as “mellowed melodies that providing indulgency inside their lyrics of romance” most of the time.
Through Forcefield, their third studio album so far – Tokyo Police Club might not wanted to playing good cop/bad cop with their audiences because the way they’re sending the messages in this lovely audio recording and live music would definitely serious even when one can captured some of the band’s little jokes lost inside the fast-wider ocean of romantic rock-ridden.
Try Through The Wire, Beaches, Miserable, Hot Tonight and Gonna Be Ready not because they’re asking you to burn the house down but because we all need to get a little bit taste of that lovely crazy magnetic feeling inside ours.
