The other side reflection off the broke up legacy from their previous semi-legendary Hippie band; the Jefferson Starship had their previlege rights to continue the musical journey with adding Hard Rock AOR inlfuences with their rooty basic Folk Rock and Funky Soul to make them apart away a little bit from Motown products. Led still by the infamous Marty Balin (lead and backing vocals) and Grace Slick (lead vocals, piano) rocking in the elements of sacred seventy six era with Cruisin', Dance with The Dragon to Hot Water and Song to The Sun with the great concept of sub division tracks on this one which sounded artistic and smart enough for the band's moves towards the releasing of Spitfire album. Guarding the rhythm sections with Slick and Balin are some loyal members from the same previous old version of this Jefferson - Paul Kantner (lead vocals, backing and rhythm guitar), Craig Chaquico (lead guitar), David Freiberg (keyboards), Pete Sears (bass, piano, mellotron, organ, moog) and John Barbata (drums, percussions) spreading their fusion of retro music meets harder rock beats that will force you to sing or dance while listening to this "wonderlust" album for marking the year of a more complicated easy living with plenty of shitty job opportunity, meth crystals and serial killers painting the decades with bigger headline news besides Vietnam Wars and other terrible stories. Jefferson Starship must be like an identified flying object coming down to Earth to spreading happiness vocals harmony and good melodies through their music, trying to preserves not the fake peace but love under will for the people to radiates through lethal effects of the Eastern and Asian's consciousness of wisdom influences...
