No one will ever imagine that one day Punkrock branches will reaching an end for mating with World Music or Traditional Techno Dance and such but actually it's happening and we got one of the mainly current example through the Seattle Steampunk inter-cultural band: Abney Park. Not only their music is weird even the lyrics or the titles are the same in so called a near future evolution theme classified as unique. The band themselves, getting their costumes to be as amazingly as the New Orleans' Mardi Gras parade contestants to meet here led by the ring-leader Robert Brown, Kristina Erickson, Nathaniel Johnstone, Daniel C and Jody Ellen forming one of the most bizarre group in Punkrock history and along with their career comes this record The Circus at The End of The World that seems to fulfilling the prophecy of ages to the newest one that the Earth shall crumble into pieces by disasterous events but this record will be one of the ultimate background soundtrack of that relevant devastated horrific event. Praise Abney Park for lending us their flawless, relentless and very funny moments for laughing ourselves and the rest of our sinful mistakes in a blending of Industrial Disco meet Punk worldwide within thus solemnly silly or just being raw and naive but suddenly, after hearing The Anthropophagists Club, Follow Me If You Want To Live, Buy The Captain Rum and Scheherazade which finally can give everyone a good smiling last days countdown to total devastation.
If you have to choose between being saved or worry for Doomsday just choose this album !
