   Life after their previous releasing album must be getting easier for this Calabasas Alternative Metal group - Incubus which constantly consisting of its loyal core members at that time: vocalist Brandon Boyd, guitarist Mike Einziger, Chris Kilmore (turntables), Dirk Lance (bass) and their skillful drummer Jose Pasillas rolling in the most comprehensive tough choices of a perfect blend on Nu Metal, Funk Rock, Jazz and Progressive Hardcore and making them all the band's total distinctive sounds as it made them sounded different from most of the bands spawning at that time. The nineties saw Incubus releasing the next effort with more complicated issues and mixing of various type of music in Make Yourself as well as the gaining of national wide attention seriously from the music media and the sub-genre lovers. We got the tight-tinged of aerospacing touch and lots of Flenger-ism techniques on Stellar, Nowhere Fast, Consequence or Pardon Me to the intensive care ballad on I Miss You or the self-reflected wise lyrics of spirituality on the power track - Drive. Brendan's vocals sounded amazingly perfect as it unofficially made the perfect influences to the next generation of the so-called Emocore later but the main key for this group must be the solid performance that will scared you to death in their goosebumping personal skills and awesome blending for musical techniques compressed into this record. As the fans getting bigger and the crowds wanting their names to play stadium; Incubus finally found themselves inside the chain reaction of decompressing space tubes carried the band's floating into deep space of Modern Rock triumphant realm.
