Ship Of Ghosts (Kissing Spell Records 1972)
Welcoming the black days celebration and you will be shocked that this band would definitely sounded like one of the lost Black Sabbath tapes with a little bit different Ozzy on vocals. Wicked Lady taken their name right next to their niece from Tony Iommi's catalog booksong and having their own version of early Doomy and Hard Rock music like this release - Psychotic Overkill; coming straight from the dark dungeon and hellish kitchen in rebel rousing brilliant riffs and heavy chord melodies played by these Northampton's rockers: Martin Weaver (vocals, guitars), Del morley (bass) and Dick "Mad" Smith on drums. The second album from Wicked Lady lads is superb and quite scary but should be a definite collection for any Doom Rock lovers for its awesome tracks recorded here such as Tell The Truth, Why Don't You Let Me Try or Jimi Hendrix's eerie cover Voodoo Child, putting them at one of the best pioneers of this type of disturbing music as a one of the proud branches of Heavy Metal.
Your eardrums will be shaken as well as your faith in fate beliefs ...
