Born Mark Freuder Knopfler as with his brother David, established their semi-legendary Pub Rock group - Dire Straits before then going solo after plenty quality times recording, touring, rocking the stages and playing almost everywhere before Mark decided to take time to being partly from his hiatus band persuing solo projects.
