Sugar, Leather & The Nail (Columbia 1991)

Often being compares by the Rock rocketeers media and magazines with Guns N' Roses for their "sex, drugs n' rock & roll" attitudes as they're coming from the same timeline era; Austin, Texas' Dangerous Toys might be one of the Hair Metal band that didn't ever reaching their peak success while the flame still hot but as the time goes by, these "pretty" rockers might finally had their story-days revisited or remembered again by the next generation of Heavy Metal/Hair Rock genre lovers. Lead by Jason McMaster (vocals) with Scott Dalhover (guitar), Mike Watson (bass, backing vocals), Danny Aaron (guitar, slide guitar, backing vocals) and Mark Geary (drums) coming to the Hair Metal scenery with their Sleazy Music and dark humour lyrics as these rockers smells the same, bleed the same and drunk the same just like those LA contingent; their successful debut record being again - successfully followed by the second one Hellacious Acres which would giving you a total Hair Rock experiences with its glamour, silly, rocking and romantic moments on each tracks listed inside it like Gimme No Lip and Gunfighter to Angel N U or Best of Friends and the band's cover of Bad Company's Feel like makin' love. A lost band with great licks, catchy rockin' songs and awesome vocals too damn good to forget ...
