Don't Look Back Sahara (Virgin / Siren 1986)

The UK delivering order of New Wave, Soft Rock and Post-Punk combination sounds must be these Cutting Crew - consisting themselves with a quartet composition of Nick Van Eede (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, keyboards), Kevin Scott MacMichael (lead guitar, backing vocals), Colin Farley (bass, piano) and Martin Beadle (drums, percussion); performing their type style of British New Wave leads to the releasing debut record - Broadcast which casting several great songs like Any Colour, One for the Mockingbird, I've Been in Love Before as well as the band's first and infamous hit single - (I Just) Died In Your Arms; that probably would lasted forever (through any Prom nights and miserable dates) and shall always been listed as one of the most loveable songs ever written in SynthPop-Rock music history.
The current mixing of thus Pop-Rock, and Electro New Wave injection beats through the catchy soft crunchy music will easily drive the listeners hungry for more Cutting Crew-ism works after this debut. An awesome beginning for this London group to taste the sweetness fame of the Rock Music world in the mid-eighties but so wrongly happened ended up in short-living career band as the reality strikes. Actually, Cutting Crew already established themselves into the Hall of Famous "One Hit Wonder" lists but with that one hit song - bet that lots of people still remembering them today and tomorrow.

Nice story !
