A latecomer at the ending times for Emorock era right before the terrifying millennium; Brad Smith, Matt Balley, Orion Walsh and Ryan McIntosh a united quartet of the band Slow Coming Day which already tries to gaining more attentions as the band experiences for going on tour with similar bands from the same genre like Emery, Spitafield or Anberlin but ratherly to making big towards the scene of American's Emo Rock that already invaded by a new form of Post-Rock style syndrome - Screamo Metal. Luckily, Slow Coming Day still manage to releasing this album - Farewell to the Familiar which contains of Pop-Rock and standard Alternative sounds that would desperately liking by the new emerging teenagers in some other parts of US soil.
