The Witch Sirens Run (Iron On Iron Reocrds 2011)

Formed in Hardenberg, Twente - this Dutch Heavy Metal act first just trying to copying Thin Lizzy but then escaped the tricky situation by adding more heavier edgy side from NWOBHM's catalog and the leading figures on the band alias the founder - guitarist Allard Ekkel and vocalist Bert Kivits added the bass player Essie Zagers and Rudy marissen behind the drumkit with later Paul van Rijswijk on guitars ready to go to unleashed their faster, proton like blasts kind of harbringer music with high octave vocals and semi-Punkish and Doomy celibate mixes as then this group - Emerald releasing their second recording after an unpleasant longing of de-activated music career since the first album hits the record store back to the eighty fives. Emerald still belonging to have their private headbanger formulae but just like the rest of the what you called unlucky bands; this good album only the one exact momentum for the band to resurfacing again but failed to guarding their grips, their foot to standing on a solid ground of Metal Music International. Iron on iron album isn't too bad for throwing some punchy songs like Angels Of The Red Light, Shadows Of Allmighty, D-Day and Hell Racer might giving you a good kicking of Hard Rock/Heavy Metal wall but the power isn't that stronger as well as the better sounds because of the not too well-produced and corrosive effects. Poor band that giving an example for us that you need more than just a good high-range vocals, faster music or good skills to be a successful rock band - you need more luck from the infamous Lady Fame and Fortune for that !

PS. But still - the front cover looks classic bad-ass one.
