Kiss Of Beltaine (Divebomb Records 2014)

Some might be agreed that when you had a chance to listening to this Rhode Island’s Heavy Metal band Witch Meadow; you shall have this simple imagination on your mind that you are listening to the mid-nineties groovy version of Motley Crue with a different vocalist or the real more underground Metal group from New York or New Jersey but delivering the newer shapes of sounds seems like they’ve been lost in time over decades and miraculously come back after the new millenium emerging as a new group. Don’t be confused by the Old School Power Metal beats bursting out of this band’s last compilation album before they decided to split-up and vanish again. Cry of The Wolf is a complete compilation which really looking as album alike package and anyway, you are lucky for having this opportunity witnessing the show of force from this Cranston native band with its members consisted of paul Wyrostek (lead vocals), Bryan Martin (guitars), Mel Tayler (drums) and Dennis Stimpert (bass) cranking their bastard mixed sounds and beats influenced by heavily dosage of Tommy Lee’s drumming grooves, Pantera, Glam Metal to Horror themes gotten from The Misfits with killer guitar skills and powerful high toned vocals. Entering the dark quiet road while suddenly a wolf showed up and seems like that beast won’t go away but blocking you and ready to attack is the kind of feeling that you will experience towards the storming and misery atmosphere from Cry of The Wolf. The compiled songs from their 95 to 97 recordings like Hells Hollow, Bitter Trial, Wings of Steel, Hypocrite, Do You Want To Live Forever ? or more banging and tearing down the walls tracklist can becoming some nostalgia about the old memory of how Heavy Metal once really turning the world on fire and conquering the minds of Rock Nations people.

Seek and you might find find this compilation !
