Pendle Tyburn (Independent 2016)
The background story behind how the album of Lustrata: Purified by
Sacrifice has been around while in the making during the recording process from
one dirty basement to another around the city of London before it’s truly done.
The band Dungeon Master really thankfully for that cause with the unhelpful
conditions for them really prolong the recording process for this debut album
to spreading to the wider audiences who love Sludgy/Doom Metal with the
intimated touch with the roots of Jazz and Southern comforts while the vocalist
Dan Stokes singing like the drunken rocker from Southend-on-Sea; the rest of
the bands seems to be too damn serious to arranging their music and songs but
the results looking fantastic with the demanding for more Southern Sludge/Doom
Metal bands needed by the new community of Rock and Heavy Metal this last few
years, hopefully that Dungeon Master will at least – stick together with their
common expressive and standard combat ability to drive some people fails into
emotion not to scaring the guest but being respectively throwing the infectious
tracks like Witchcraft & Sorcery, Bones of London and In The Lair of It
which brought the horror feelings suddenly creeping slower towards my angkles
and slowly going up and up ... Like Tony Iommi being overdosed with LSD or when
the either guitarist Paul Griffin or the drummer Jack Cole playing their
non-sober sounds as if as the reincarnations of smoothered version from a
rebirth of a Satanic child from a dead virgin whom being raped by the demon
itself when she was young; the colorful flames could be an indicator that
Dungeon Master also a reincarnation of Master of Reality album but not copying
– it develops into something scarier not only for good people but the rest of
the globe this near the celebration for the restless and the dead ...
