Thoughts Garden (The Leaders Records 2013)
The beauty runs out of time, chasing chances to enclosing her faith before the full-moon vanished onto the sea and a new day cursing her existence to eternally doomed as the compilation album legacy from the Ukrainians’ Gothic Metal group Sad Alice Said would gladly becoming your additional collections because the Clock of Eternity already lost its way on the yellow small road leads to somewhere as the spells had been spoken and the lyrics are taken the listeners following the footsteps once done build by vocalist Shakor Alisa, Anna Polozova (viola), Julie Balan (keyboards) and the boys: guitarist Pavel and Sergey, Max Nazarets the drummer and Sergey Likhotvor (bass); decided to putting their sigil onto the eternal charming amulet of this compact disc album compiled as Yesterday’s Tomorrow.
One can feel the sadness sorrow classic atmospheric auras and the blending of powerful melodies and harmony of Modern Metal and Traditional touches as the clean hypnotizing great vocals flown out like an elves’ singing on the late of Summer crossing the woods and waterfalls of Rivendell by frontwoman Alisa whom also writing the lyrics as well.
The soft faded memory touching created by the keyboards or the sweet solo guitars from the members can easily carried you away to the forever dreamy-land where mythical creatures living but the road to go there sometimes can be confusingly dangerous for some just like finding the band’s hometown of strangely place named Zhytomyr.
One needs no more proof for telling to themselves that this compilation album is truly superb within it’ classic sounds via sweeter tracks like Fade, Alive, Tomb-Like Silence or Door in Autumn; graciously – pulled out romance’s sharp teeth and giving the dying lost girl a warm hug before grim comes calling.
