Former founding mothers of Los Angeles' Grunge bastard queen of noise L7 - Donita Sparks decided to go solo and within this decision comes the new project of herself which still brought the euphoria legacy from her previous works on that distinctive simplicity sounds and guitar solos for her new band name: Donita Sparks and The Stellar Moments. Moved to LA from her own city of Chicago; Donita Sparks really would be considered as the back-bone of the music creations of her band and showing here on this releasing debut record - Transmiticate; a infamous sounds carried out from the depth consciousness of Ms. Sparks with the help from guitarist Alan Santalesa, Jesika von Rabbit on bass to Donita's old sorority friends Dee Plakas on drums as well as Ethan Allen on keyboards/synthesizers using thus softer distortions to elevating the numbers of riffs and melodies aiming for relaxing Alternative Rock progress off the tracks like Dare Dare, Fly Feather Fly, Infancy of A Disaster and Headcheck which sounded like the last L7 recordings plus newer faces of how Grunge tunes turning inside out again between the glamour and the Pop culture magnetic field.
