Despierta La Cura (Self-Released 2013)




 

   All men aren't all egoistic for making art-music as proven by these Gothic Metal group from Barcelona, Catalonia - Romanthica consisting of five-piece personnel: double guitarists Ruben Rosas and Sergi R. Perea, drummer Lord Bud, bassist Abel Aranda and the lead singer David Gohe shadowing our listening momentum room with the cold, sensual and standard mix of Symphonic Metal Goth, Latin Pop cultural sounds to the essential sadder romantic to dark-telenovela themed for the debut full studio album Eterno. The classic lovely melodies and pale-mourns effects likely, leads the walks for thus admirable tracks of fortunate misfortunes stories and the mid-tempo music essentially, showing us - this is the Catalonian formed of rock in originality to shares. Written the lyrics in Spanish, good sense of bridging intros, choruses and refrains for not being sounded like another followers on the established European Continent  mode in general; giving Romanthica a little more positive marks even though their music is entirely - slower and popper than most of the the female fronted bands off this sub-genre but still - songs like Mercurio, Nada, Muriel, Regreso al Sur del Eden to Mejor Sera Olvidar and El Vientre Del Huracan sounded mesmerizing to your ears as the translations also giving much pleasures to us for knowing that the songs really written with soaring hearts that bleeds not spoiled.
