Forest Lover (1-2-3-4 Go! Records 2012)

Cody Blanchard re-inventing the less-positive influences that used to be built by The Monkees or Buddy Holly and the rest of thus 70's Pop era music but this time, his going too much for disguising as King Lollipop doing the acoustic deranged performance that sounded like Weird Al-Yankovic turning broke or the dumbest Elvis impersonator you'll ever see in this life but fear not cause whether the music isn't saver for your old grandparents or the maid - it is still preaching for stale margaritas or diamond rings which you can calling them meaningless nowadays and out of dated but for them who loves the oldies and the seventies music much this weirdy guy might slowly turns to finding himself among friends and people who love to listening more from him (even though it's freaking hilarious for the first time). Woodland Whoopee Songs of Ol' Callowhee must be a courageous move from King Lollipop to expanding his simple jangly Pop music from the past like he's being a travelling hipster went to a time machine to the sixties and the seventies before coming back just before the year predicted to be a catastrophic disaster of all time and turned out to be a hoax except his music that sounded like ... you can try to listen and figured it out yourself. You will Never Find Me, Cheeseburger and Fries, Dumpster Divin', Wings of a Raven and The Wizard's Heart had cementing this person oddity persuasions towards modern music using the good old Rock N' Roll retro melodies that for some folks still sounded hipster-jipster !
