Supporting the essential spirits of
RiotGrrrl Movements as well as being stand-up for fighting on their rights as a
Queer Punk-Pop band from Coralville, Iowa as a few good female rockers pops
into the world of new millennium Punk-Rock maximum; pleased to meet you all is
these trio of Lipstick Homicide which seems to taken their inspirations from
the sad suicidal stories around the Aberdeen, WA’s heroes of Grunge – Nirvana where
the attitude of Cobain embarks on the band’s naming choice while then, the newest
effort from this Iowa less-supported rebel rock scene release would
sarcastically being called Out Utero as the opposite of Nirvana’s last full
studio album which means that Lipstick Homicide is being in fully covering and
armed themselves by huge self-esteem to coming out and meet the world outside
as a new born – never fearing anything because life is a new adventure everyday
for them and Out Utero really proving that facts.
As Rachel Feldmann (bass,
guitar, vocals), Kate Kane (guitar, vocals) and Big Luke Ferguson (drums) or
Trevor Treiber as additional member cracking their way for the burst of
short-durations of Pop-Punk explosions about the issues related to same-sex
relationships, romantic touch, daily products of ordinary world society and
three power chords that sounding melodic, vocals harmony and boredom screams
which picturing how dynamic Queer Punk community really sounded energetic as
harder sending messages of positivity via Rock N’ Roll and little-less chaotic
kisses through Rockerchick, So Happy for You, Full Throttle, Say it to My Face,
Who’s Stole Molly’s Bike or Rather Disappear – ditching the facts that these
girls and boy really brought back the semi-classic mixing between The Muffs,
Hole and Letter to Cleo in one whole new perspective of different love affairs
realm.
