Objects Broken Saturday (Saddle Creek 2013)

Mesmerizing and crunchy by the voice delivering peaceful and soft knocking off the edge of small woods surrounding the farming land, field of green-grass and little stream of crystal clear water painting your views with panorama of gladness and tranquility kept in safe hands as we might need to thankful this Birmingham, Alabama Folk-Pop singer Maria Diane Taylor because she’s pretty in darker hair and she’s not trying to be Taylor Swift or other big company’s pet but go on her road by herself as for herself only but never abandon her loyal listeners behind the essential Folkish/Country/Pop-tinged.
As with the fifth solo recording release with the smarty title: Something About Knowing that collaborates the best essence from Pop, Indie Rock, Acoustic values, more traditional simplicity of music instruments performance within the landscaping spread-sounds down the valley or up the mountain cheering up as the nature’s breathing in joyful breath and you might hear it through the whispering winds or the moderate Soft-Rock performance on Tunnel Vision to dance slower with your loves one, the exquisite song over Up All Night or Sum of Our Lives that courageously brought to us wisdom over greed to the acoustic lullaby through You’ve got a Way with the Light.
One surely, needs to sit back or go further deep into the woods or rural areas – and feels for the first time (again) the real spirits of our ancestors who build this land and giving life-breather to live the escaping of today reality for non-spoken tomorrow that might brings luck you and of course, to Marie Taylor’s beach cover-arts anthem album.
