Shame Factory (Columbia Records 1995)

Alice In Chain trying to confirm themselves after the comfort of Dirt album hysteria but hiding to be elusive again.
Such a confirmation of the next new album and the come back sound of the real Seattle’s heroes as they presenting their self-titled album. As the grunge sound barks in a new smothered and simple way, Layne Staley kept his characterized low vocal while guitarist Jerry Cantrell's tempo still slaying like usual as if his in agonizing rage or something and also the debut of AIC’s new bassist – Mike Inez (Ozzy, BLS) as they continued their deep doom alt-rock approachs, modern hard rock and unique cells of power-pop heavy guitar riffs in one package. Slumber Factory, Heaven Beside You, Head Creeps or Again are truly like lullabies to resting you to sleep, just like putting a kid inside Gemini 13 and sending him to the edge of the universe.

Not seriously impossible but I might giving five stars to this one – possibly serious.
