This British Heavy Metal group might be established not to praising the Holy City too much or trying to be a new crusade warpack but only and simply hailing the magic of Classic Heavy metal sounds of the 70's era made by them. We got Paul Dean on bass, Ray Sparrow the drummer, on guitars department there are Bill Hinde and Bob Cooke with Lynden Williams carrying the famous job as the vocalist. Sounded a little bit like an intersection of old Power Rock played by Ritchie Blackmore with Ronnie Van Zant in a soft Hardrock-ing AOR music project in softer fuzzing riffs and tempo. This Jerusalem self-titled album might seems like a converting record of some Templar members for embracing new beliefs which is Rock Music and as the modern day appears, these rockers found out that actually being a rockstar should be much much better living to pursue as a career and that's when they decided to establishing Jerusalem the first place. But anyway, like it or not - the album threw up good tracks not too profoundings but everyone can come closer and give a taste of Midnight Steamer or When The Wolf Sits and don't forget to thank Ian Gillan from producing credits over this record as well.
