Met at Roskilde music festivals and then soon after the duo of Brian Burton (Danger Mouse) and The Shins frontman James Mercer decided that there should be a next step for the musical relationships and Broken Bells born. An Alternative Indie or Space Rock project which already taken seriously built up and recordings to the day a debut album released with the self-titled Broken Bells. Carrying the general British model of Indie sounds, this group slightly collecting more strings arrangements of additional musicians plus the horn sections as well while the main core lies on Brian and James respectively and the media saw this record slowly topping the US Billbord rock charts unnoticed just like the music they've made perfectly relaxing, gorgeous or safetly up-beats in semi-electro sounds includes on tracks of The Ghost Inside, Your Head is On Fire, Sailing to Nowhere, The Mall & Misery, etc ...
