Before they adopted heavier sound into their blistering Folk Metal catalog; Korpiklaani is already a Folk band playing their Pagan influenced traditional shamanic sounds from their own heritage of Ancient Finland Folklore and legends. Looking like drunken Northpole cowboys playing their traditional danceable metallic Folk as this beer-drinker Pagans like Finnish wildmen maniacs but in a contrary always giving their fans and customers thus imaginative artworks on their albums including the old wizard in Gandalf like appearance sitting in a generous smile surrounded himself with Artic wolves and magical Runestones. Either when this folks playing their fastest speed metal version or doing that olde weirdy Finnish trad-dance drunk rock, one needs to assure that these long-haired guys aren't joking around doing it. Tervaskanto (Old Timer in English) is a tentatively one of the original Nordic Metal recordsthat one should collectibly had inside their Metal Wardrobe catalog place. So, between the crazy melodies and up right tempos and over-used shamanic drum, yoik or humppa instruments and agressive growls vocals or Ginger Ale Beers overconsumed we would ritually dancing our ass off quite in overjoyed rejoice following thus Extreme Pagan Metal chants on tracks like Palovana, Karkunkaatolaulu, Misty Fields, Nordic Feast and Let's Drink right next to the over flaming fireplace ...

Aaarrrgghhhahaha !!!
