Ping Pong Affair (Island Records 1979)

Sounded similar to be sibling sisters of The Clash but different from that legendary Punk band, this women trio group who loves Punk, Dub and Reggae (and nudity) might giving a chance of not taking their music too serious but keep the dangerous parts shown openly wider effects to sweating some adults and freaking-out most parents over their performance. The Slits which consisting of the Flower of Romance ex-member like Viv Albertine (guitar), Ari-Up (vocals) and Tessa Pollitt (bass guitar) as well as their additional drummer for this debut recording release - Budgie replacing the band founder Palmolive.
Produced by Dennis Bovell; Cut (the album) really would blowing your brains out because hardly different from others ordinary flash-up Punk records at the time that mostly going fast or standard bunch of noises of frooming guitars and stuff - The Slits presenting us their awesome works here based on these girls big fans of Dub/Reggae influenced and we got groovy and funky East London/West indies tempos and atmosphere of music sounds and these girls really showing that their experiments isn't just a trendy product to sell. One will be guarranteed in satisfactions for listening or dance joyously through So Tough, Shoplifting or the consumerism awareness on Spend Spend Spend.
A clever way to opening people's eyes with not too seriously or raw Post-Punk movement music but closely intimated rhythm of the Jamaican shores with pleasurements of social messages, equality ideas and nudity as a bonus.

Alright Gals !
