Crackhore Superstupid (Repulsion / Get Hip Recordings 1991)

Spontaneously horrid by mixing their copycat harmony vocals in those Grungy jeans with holes and long hair just as bad as Mudhoney but they're proud for calling themselves an AnnArbor's Alternative Rock band. Big Chief has taken thier name from the bravery Native American tribe leaders in order for themselves (the band) would becoming as tough and a bit savage like the figures from the past wilderness of Wild Wild West. Contradicted with the traditional music; this five piece buzzingheads rockers Mark Dancey (guitars), Mike Danner (drums), Matt O’Brien (bass), Barry Henssler on vocals and second guitarist Phil Durr puking their idealistic of whatever "mofo" as loud as they wanted and for any kinds of protests - well, guess they're didn't care much bout it. This self-titled album from the very early nineties shall giving you a hint about what this group sounded like in actual recording as many might saying that Big Chief probably stole Pearl Jam's Super-fuzz big muffs og Grunge ultimate key but success might be blinded enough at that moment and even at the most intense hours on a new revolution inside Rock Music's brain; the survival of the fittest phrase is still holding much of most where the currents went after the waterfall. Think again for Blowout Kit, Glare, Break Torque and Iron Pimp much pretty rocking the ears up like the proto mixing of Glam Rock and Apathy Punk Music that actually cool but it didn't take long before this band crumble and disbanded because when the hand of bigger corporations took over the game scene for their own interests ...
