In The Presence Of Enemies Part II (Roadrunner Records 2007)

The finale comeback recording after several years for kept themselves into the purity of Progressive Rock too serious and slowly slipped from magnificant to boring up after the last brilliant album perhaps in almost more than ten years; with the most loyal and existing legendary members of Dream Theater: mighty vocalist James LaBrie, master-virtuoso of six strings John Petrucci, elegant bassist John Myung and the god of drumming masterpiece Mike Portnoy with the new keyboards player Jordan Ruddess finally release this next power album - Systematic Chaos; soon to be classic for every fanatic fans of this band. With the good appreciations made on the Dutch, Norway and Finnish rock chart, looks like it seems that Dream Theater had once again manage their band stay the same or at least, can be compared to the old record Images and Words which already had its recognition to be one of the legendary United States' rock bands. The excellent shredding or the faster licks really would sounded not a bit too fast but re-products for the band's good efforts completed with thus faster tempo and long rally off the cruising drums and basses to their guitarist John Petrucci trying to keeping up along his duels with Portnoy's drums, classic session jams and Progressive Metal licks that still can put you into either Slam-dance community or stage diving mosh-pit because here on Systematic Chaos where any fanatic fans of the band (for life) will discovers that there's a balance in-between the Harder Progressive Metal which coan be traced from the influential of  Metallica or Judas Priest to the band's signatured solid sounds within Constant Motion, Prophets of War,  The Ministry Of Lost Souls and Repentance. One would loved Mr. Ruddess quicky fingers and compositions and taste so special because of Dream Theater consistances for never stop closing their eyes and this album produced by both Mike Portnoy and John Petrucci - the promises under our classic renegade or outlaws but once you hearing their music again, no one would commenting bad about this record - only darker and like a solemn prediction to serve the changes of victims to the winner towards these precious masterpiece copulated into the life-time achievements for pioneering Heavy Metal and specifically - Prog Rock that sounded like a lion's roar; hungry and tired but still wanted  to maintaining this genre kind music from zero to acorn to grown up bigger than you could possibly imagine ...

Salute to the legendary Prog-Rock band of all time.
