The roses might not always be red and violet actually isn't blue at all and in this case Warpaint which consisting of the quartet women Emily Kokal on vocals and guitars, Theresa Wayman (vocals, guitar, keyboards, drums), Jenny Lee Lindberg on bass and backing vocals to Stella Mozgawa (drums, keyboards and guitars) really emerging within their talented musical ability and good songwritings and music composition to perform a delighted Art Rock sounds through this album; as the tracks per tracks one on one would touching some parts influences right from the latter days of RHCP bassline works not in a "too California Dreamy Pop" kind of style but more like the mixing of Goth-Pop meets retro music from the early years of the sixties Pop decades as you can taste them mostly (with) the soft distorted tones through Set Your Arms Down, Undertow, Shadows or Lissie's Heart Murmur that might shocking you a bit just like I said before - finding that this band actually is a bridge where the Alternative Music meeting with Progressive Pop to kiss each other up and falling in love ...
