The second studio effort Goodbye Enemy Airship The Landlord Is Dead sounds like the secret codes sign for secret military operation at first but don't let this fooling you because aware of this Canadian Post-Rock band - Do Make Say Think which you might never heard of before may giving one confusions and questions but worry not cause these Indie Rock warriors honestly didn't use any vocals to do this recording - just purely simple solid combinations of noises and sound effects of multi-instrumentalist to produced their Progressive Music products on the album. There's Ohad Benchetrit doing his things on guitar, bass, saxophone and flute while keyboardist Jason McKenzie tinged up slowly with Justin Small the guitarist just like strange languange of sound but not meaningless as the other guy Charles Spearin done the guitar, bass and trumpet parts helped by Dave Mitchel or James Payment behind the drumkits knitting thus sophomore quietness of tones which can be called much alive in every seconds of the timing counted-clock both manual or digital giving us the sense of changes atmosphere inside the warm rooms or outside in the cold. Talking softly through the trees and windy afternoon suddenly before the evening arrives; communicated to their audiences using the musical instruments and electrical wires out from the speakers not too rough not too course but in balance between light and dark just like some tracks that spoken in whispers to us on The Apartment Song or Bruce E Kinesis and Minmin, they don't intimidate - they're inspiring.
All of This is True ...
