Hang On To Your IQ (Elevator / Hut Recordings 1996)

Entering the world of androgyno-ism and fueled angst Alternative Rock music off this British trio with simple name - Placebo; meet and greet the main character of them all: singer/guitarist Brian Molko and bassist/guitarist Stefan Olsdal - the core creator in forming this second rated rock band starting their steps from zero into the vast wider Rock World universe as they're recruits Robert Schultzberg for drumming and plays didgeridoo for the band sooner as they're releasing a debut record with the same self-titled. Placebo combining the essential Pop-Indie and crazy anonymous problems into their lyrics and music - creating the fanbase for any teenagers or dilated people whose thought that there's no hope anymore but actually, there's still and the passage of blurry answers for that is inside this album - juat like a weird boy facing his image to the world surrounds him thorugh abnormality; these trio also putting the same characteristic similar to that on their catchy melodies but not an easy-listening tracklists infiltrates your ears with the song performance like Nancy Boy, 36 Degrees, Bionic and Bruise Pristine to Lady Of The Flowers. Giving the rest questioning the real gender of Brian Molko's image or disliking this band are surely, not the most intimate dilemma for the band to continuing their career, their lives and of course, their purposes to rock by confusing your mind a bit with collateral or severed issues of the day ...
