Good Night But Not Goodbye (TV Movie 1978)

 

   During the daily basic time when the Empire troops didn't becoming too mean on the searching of any Rebel Alliance planets or as you might seen how George Lucas the producer and his entire crew movie went drunk and made this occasion series very rare within its related characters to the famous Star Wars trilogy and naming the fiasco celebration movie as Star Wars Holiday Special as it featuring most of the casts from the successful story like Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and of course, Chewbacca and introducing his little funny family: the father Itchy, the wife Malla and the cute son Lumpy as well as the rest of the special appearance from  Jefferson Airplane to harvey Korman or one of the Golden Girls granny conversate with Greedo as you might see the first glimpse of Boba Fett too. The musical joyful story continues with Chewie and Han Solo went home to Kashyyyk the Wookie home planet to meet the family for the annual celebration of Life Day but got a small problem encountering Star Destroyer on their journey that they cannot make it on time but luckily, within all the crazy holiday moments from the cooking show by the four armed alien chef gone disaster to how the impatient family of Chewbacca trying to reach their friends for information on him as the appearance of R2-D2 or C3PO and more guess-stars and other attractions shown here like Princess Leia singing to the naughty Lumpy arguing to his family about being bored as the soundtracks also didn't quite put anything good or worse through out the bad movie instead on delivering something interesting for the Star Wars fanatic lovers even when some really hated this package while others still praising them as the relaxing moments captured on the song from Diahann Carroll on This Minute Now or when The Jefferson Airplane rocking in with Light The Sky on Fire to Carrie Fisher's finest tunes on A Day to Celebrate. How on Earth this movie ever exists is a question in everyone's mind but you know that this Star Wars Holiday Special showing one scene where interesting Stormtroppers unti raiding our beloved Wookie family's tree house searching for Chewie and other rebels activity but fail in the end. Yep, you might smiling or grumpy for having this movie and the musical soundtrack for a gift but still this one is a very rare moment for Chewbacca and his family to shine as the main casts.
