Flight From Outside (Mandalay/Hollywood 1998)

   Arrested for stealing bread convicts the man Jean Valjean years in misery prison but released by Bishop Myriel as Valjean then trying to steal his silverware but when caught by police the bishop gave him things and sent him free to be a new good man remains in Valjean minds within nine years later pass turning to a wealthy industrialist and mayor to meet Fantine a single worker mother in his factories being fired as she leave to be a prostitute and sending her daughter Cosette to work like a house-slave to Mr. and Mrs. Thenardier as the arrival of inspector Javert suspecting the mayor as Valjean the same convict. Extorting for more money on her daughter as Fantine being arrested but helps by mayor Valjean conclude the first chapter story where she died of her sickness but leaving her daughter to him. Paying lots of money to free Cosette and treating her as his own daughter; Valjean finally escapes by moving to Paris away from Javert suspicion and gave his factories to be taking care of by his own workers since.

As Les Miserables movie told us further about the entire struggling life of Jean Valjean facing the threatening revolutions awakening in the big city and Javert tricky moves to destroying and capture him back. Starring Liam Neeson, Claire Danes, Hans Matheson and Geoffrey Rush – as Valjean is now nineteen years old and Cosette grown to a beautiful girl escaping her lives inside the monastery as deeply in love with Marius the revolutionist leading role but the undercover Javert trying to undermine the plan in the street of chaos as he once captured being released by Valjean inside the barricades which resulting deep regret cause the inspector comes back bringing the huge troops of soldier shooting and kills most of the resurgence including little children. 


   134 minutes duration of directing film by Bille August plus the amazing melodramatic and suspense compositions of instrumental themed soundtrack by Basil Poledouris telling the entire stories within stage/screen scoring Suite 1 Valjean’s Journey for The Quarry to Themes From les Miserables, Suite 2 Vigau which consisting on Death of Fantine as well as Caring Form Fantine; Suite 3 Paris tells the audience about things happens beside The Wall and romantic scene for Marius and Cosette until the finale Suite 4 Barricades onto Funeral Attack, Farewell and Javert’s Suicide concluding the movie ending as the bad guy finally, realizing how good is Jean Valjean as innocent and the court event proves Valjean’s kindness  well cause good men deserved equality and justice.
