Older generation from the Classic and Glam Rock decades known these Wolverhampton/Walsall’s clowns of Rock Music (at first) only being humiliated to joining the circus on their first appearances but Slade (later) turning to something important because they’re very different from another rock bands from the same era which these British quartet of Noddy Holder (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Dave Hill (lead guitars), Jim Lea (bass, piano) and Don Powell (drums) are dressing up in colorful outfit just like the clowns did for their usual comedy actions but this time involving good beating of Rock N’ Roll and soared vocals as the themed lyrics supporting the silly purposes mainly allegedly by the band members to pissing people with melodies and good music. The Whole World’s Goin’ Crazee to How D’You Ride, Look at Last Nite or Gudbuy T’Jane which might sounded fun and terrific rocking in the non-casual moods that people trying to enjoy.
With Slayed ? being the first record crossing the ocean; Slade looking for their lucky opportunity to the amazing lady liberty named United States of America’s rock music market.
