Promets Poux Moi (Neomme 2004)

   

   Sounded like the foreign version of the blending between Tori Amos and Rasputina on demanding for more romantic blessings on her lyrics that this Lyon, France’s song-writer and singer Amelie Les Crayons really presenting herself as the ambassador of her country’s Pop Folk traditions which reminding people about Edith Piaf within her Chanson ballads but plenty of extra-ordinary Avant Garde chamber music and theatrical culture of approaching towards the few favorable listeners dying to keep loyal in having these kinds of musical performance.

   The power of her piano plays lies the basic layer for this continuity on Amelie’s musical career nationally and international as she beginning everything with this release of her full studio album Et Porquoi Les Crayons ? A strange question answered by the fabulous efforts of talents recorded right here in French as it sounded too tip-toeing in general but unique as possible as it formed using the tunes, lyrics and composed very well like arts that holding the hands of Hedonism so tight like a real lover.
